The carbon hoods are a 2 piece design that has a carbon top, next, hardware installed (for stock hood hinges and latch) then a liner is installed to make the hood rigid. It's a solid unit that you don't have to worry about it flying off your car :) and the gel coat has UV additive to keep it from discoloring. Adding a few coats of clear is reccomended for added protection and a even deeper shine. The weight of the hood is 15 pounds  v.s. the stock hood weighing in at 40 pounds.

The fiberglass units don't have harware  so you will need hood pins to attach it to your car. However, I will be offering a fiberglass hood that does come with the hardware. The fiberglass in it does have a hood liner for added strength like the carbon hood.  This hood weighs in at 15 pounds v.s. the stock hood weight of 40 pounds as well.
