race engine services

Rotor polishing - $125.00

Provides protection against carbon buildup on the rough casting surface causing detonation and/or pinging associated with intense combustion temperatures commonly found in turbo engines as well as high compression N/A motors

Motor Balancing - $350.00

Only necessary when using new parts or changing the original rotating assy.
Recommended on any engine exceeding 9,000 rpm's

* Motor Balancing
all late model (81 and newer) rotary engines came balanced from the factory to 9,000 RPM's so it is usually unnecessary to balance the engine if its a stock rebuild or a street port.

A helpful tip to remember*** Never swap flywheels as the counterweight for the rear rotor is "built in" the flywheel ! if the wrong year flywheel is installed extreme vibration can occur causing premature engine failure! if switching to a lightened steel or aluminum flywheel please specify what year you engine is so the correct counterweight can be installed

On any engine rebuild all parts can be polished, chrome plated or powder coated to meet your personal needs!!

Motor disassembly and assembly - $800.00

Includes disassembly , cleaning, painting, and reasonably of any engine block

Street porting - $500.00

street porting is the entry level to making more power with your engine. hp gains can vary allot depending on your specific goal(low end power, top end power , peak torque RPM range, drive ability, fuel consumption, etc)as much as 150 hp can be easily accomplished on a N/A motor. please inquire on your specific goals to choose the street port that best suites you porting labor$500.00 and up

Bridge porting - $800.00

This is a more aggressive port than a street port because an x-tra hole is added to the side housing adding up to 40% more air flow while also opening the port up to 180 degrees sooner (depending on the length of the bridgeport) this makes the motors power band very "peaky" meaning the low end power, torque, and derivability suffers alot.As much a 250 HP on a N/A engine is easily possible. This type of porting does not like exhaust back pressure so mufflers are not recommended as power losses are substantial. Also to get the engine to its optimum RPM's lots of gear is needed for the rear end (4.88 or 5.13) This area is often overlooked but is extremely important in you final combination

P -Porting - starting at $1,200
